Man shot by police had "toy" gun
Read storyFirearms expert Charles Bain told the Coroner's Court on Monday that the gun found next to Lincoln Forbes was a "toy gun" meant to shoot firecrackers.
But Mr Bain also testified that anyone could have mistaken the gun for the real thing.

They brought in a Firearms expert?
An expert in the field of munitions, I gather, to testify that it was a toy gun? That must've bee n the highlight of his year..
